 Woooow! It was all perfect! Unfortunately, we were way too short! Everyone immediately felt comfortable and Loryn greeted us very much! She is so warm! The view, the pool, the cozy beds, the location! You can do a lot on foot! Everything was wonderful!

 The view from this place is breathtaking. As promised we saw a whale swimming directly in front of the apartment. Loryn even messaged us to inform us about the whale being around.

 We stayed 3 nights and were unlucky enough for 2 days to be incredibly bad weather with storm and rain. Luckily we were able to see the whales from our apartment and the house was warm and cozy. We could even enjoy the braai in the special braaikamer. Our host, Loryn, was so kind and helpful! Out of pity because of the bad weather she brought us cake past the coffee and explained how to use Netlix. The apartment is gwweldig, full of comforts and Loryn is a great host.

 We had a great stay here very relaxing and enjoyed watching the whales from our window. It’s very well appointed , clean and comfortable. Loryn was a lovely lady , and very helpful. We would love to stay sometime again. The town itself was very nice with picturesque cliff walks.

There is back-up power, so we had peace of mind that our holiday would not be interrupted by power cuts, which added to a pleasurable stay.  One of my favourite airbnb locations. The apartment was beautiful, overlooking the water. Everything was super clean and very well decorated. We were received by Loryn and she made us all feel very special, we felt as we were part of the family. Perfect stay for a family of 4. Couldn’t recommend it more!! Shame we couldn’t stay longer.

 Wonderful place in Hermanus with stunning views out to the sea. Very stylish spacious place that is equipped with everything you could need. The star in the crown is Loryn with whom you will be in contact as you arrive. She is communicative, unobtrusive but helpful and ready to step in if you need anything.

 Location is everything with this apartment. It must be glorious for whale watching and in the middle of summer, unfortunately at the end of April, the sun does not reach the pool nor front of the apartment anymore. The host is super responsive and accommodated an early check-in for us.

 Truly spectacular place with extremely safe and secure parking behind a gate and inside a double garage which also shuts securely. Loryn is extremely friendly and a great source too of local info - very responsive too which makes checking in/out really simple. Wonderful views here as you're right at the cliff edge so whale watching (when they are there) is possible. We loved the proximity to the easy walking path along the pretty Hermanus cliffs, taking long walks in both directions - very beautiful, clean and quiet when we visited in mid July. The apartment is even better than the photos for me, with tons of space and lots of light through the end to end sliding doors. Bedrooms pristine, wardrobes huge, bathroom (shared by both rooms) immaculate. We would not hesitate to stay again - we loved it. Thanks for the wine and rusks too (plus the coffee pods there for us). Loryn is absolutely lovely :-)

 Wow, what an absoulutely lovely house. We loved it. Set right on the edge of the sea. Very modern and well equipped. 3-min walk into town. We spent hours watching for whales from the living room. Also, had a great "braai" using the indoor/outdoor bbq. Thanks Johan!

 Excellent Airbnb — can’t recommend strongly enough! The apartment is spacious and spotless. The views are spectacular. Johan and Loryn are extremely responsive and want to ensure that guests have a comfortable, relaxing time. For this reason, they stock the apartment with all that you need and more — loads of plates, cutlery, glasses, etc., a N’espresso machine and kettle, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, toiletries… We especially appreciated them letting us check in early. Absolutely zero negatives. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in!!!!

 When we first walked in the space and views took our breath away. Photos can never do it justice. From the moment we walked in we saw whales from the bedroom window. You can pull back all the blinds and have uninterrupted views of the ocean and can just sit and watch whales, seals and dolphins. There is also an indoor braii so you can close one of the internal glass doors and braii with an indoor/outdoor feel without any smoke/cooking smells affecting the rest of the space. We loved lying in bed in the morning watching sunrise with full glass windows/ doors.The apartment is spotless and has everything you need. There is a secure garage for your car and a laundry room with washer and drier. The main thing we loved was Loryn who showed us around the flat and was so warm and kind and answered the phone/text messages with any questions straight away. We would 100% come back and recommend to family/friends

 The space is beautiful. The pictures do not do justice as to how beautiful, neat, clean and well furnished the place is. Everything is well thought of and the place is equipped with everything you will need. This was the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Not only is the house phenomenal, whales can be seen right from the bedroom or lounge. The host Loryn is the kindest, sweetest and nicest person you will ever meet. I have never been hosted by friendlier people in my life which just amplifies the entire experience we had. If you come to Hermanus and do not stay here, you are doing yourself a disservice.

 Fabulous, modern, comfortable apartment with outstanding views from all rooms. Very spacious and calming environment to spend time in. The location was great with a short walk into the main shopping streets and right next to the stunning setting of Ficks Pool Restaurant. Fast, friendly and helpful communication throughout. We wished we could stay for longer.

 We had a very nice stay. The apartment and location are super nice. The only downside is that the pool is not on the sunny side, which means there is no sun from about 2 PM. We would come back.

 We absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House. The house is absolutely stunning with beautiful views across the sea and plenty of whale watching. The house was spotless, and Johan, Jill, and Loryn had thought of everything to make us at home. We had a lovely meal at the Pear Tree nearby and a lovely walk along the cliff path. Thank you so much, we had an amazing time in your stunning home.
